Oneal Bhambani

Director of India Investments - Riverwood Capital

Oneal Bhambani is Director of India Investments at Riverwood Capital, a $1 billion technology private equity firm.  Previously, he co-founded Kandra Partners, an operationally oriented private equity firm focused on investing in Indian technology companies.  Prior to co-founding Kandra, Oneal was a Principal at Turnaround Capital, a hedge fund manager owned by Levine Leichtman, a $5 billion private investment firm.   Before Turnaround, he was at Kingsland Capital, a $2 billion corporate high yield fund.

Prior to transitioning to the buyside, Oneal was an investment banker at Libra Securities where he executed senior, mezzanine, high-yield and private equity financings in a variety of industries.  He began his career at UBS Warburg (now UBS Investment Bank) where he provided mergers & acquisitions advisory services to technology companies.

Oneal earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.  He is a Director of Whitehall Industries, a U.S. automotive supplier, and a Senior Advisor to Nutek Ltd., a publicly listed Indian telecom infrastructure services company.

Supratim Sen

Vice President - TCS

Supratim Sen is the Vice President – BPO and heads Sales, Strategy and Solutions for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) BPO practice for emerging markets (Latam, MEA, Apac) at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He is also the Center Head of TCS’ BFSI –BPO operations in Kolkata which employs more than 2,000 associates. Supratim was earlier a part of the TCS India team, where his responsibility was to lead strategic initiatives to identify and establish new business opportunities, involving more than one vertical and also to establish an eco-system of stakeholders like government agencies, alliance partners and internal business units. Prior to that, Supratim was Head – Public Sector Business and Country Sales Head – Public Sector and Infrastructure business.

Supratim has over 25 years of multi-industry experience and prior to joining TCS, had held leadership roles in companies such as HCL and served as a Director on the Board of Directors of United Bank of India. Supratim has an MBA from MIT – Sloan School of Management, a BS from Kean University, New Jersey and was a Chevening Scholar at the London School of Economics.

Supratim lives in Kolkata with his wife Rakhi, son – Sabyasachi and daughter – Roshni.

Srini Kaushik

President and CEO, Right Brain Systems

Srini Koushik is President and CEO for Right Brain Systems, a management consultancy start up that focuses on helping improve organizational performance by implementing a new model for managing the Business of IT that increases productivity, builds sustainable capabilities, improves employee engagement, drives innovation and increases the Return on IT.

Prior to founding Right Brain Systems, Srini was Chief Development Officer for HP Enterprise Services. He led HP ES’s global Strategy and Transformation Consulting practice focused on Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing, Information Management and Business Analytics. Srini has achieved several career milestones that include being appointed an IBM Distinguished Engineer in 1998 and elected to the IBM Academy of Technology in 1999. He was also named an Elite 8 CIO by Insurance and Technology, a Top 25 CTOs by Infoworld in 2004, and one of the Top 10 All Stars in the Financial Services Industry by TechDecisions in 2007.

Srini holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Madras, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Bombay, a master’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University and several executive education courses from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Duke University.

Ajay Chaturvedi

Founder and Chairman - HarVa

Founder of HarVa, Ajay Chaturvedi, is an ex-Citi where he served in Strategy and Sales positions. Ajay begun his career with IBM Consulting in the US and has over 14 years of experience in Management, Operations and IT Consulting across Financial Services, IT and ITeS industries in US, UK, and South East Asia. Prior to Citi, Ajay was the Transition Leader at Global Vantedge, a company that was a pioneer in many ways besides being the first offshore receivables management provider. Ajay is an Engineer from BITS Pilani and a Graduate in Management of Technology from the School of Engineering and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ajay was awarded CNN IBN Youth Icon / Young Indian Leader of the year 2011. Most recently, Ajay has recently been nominated as one of the Amazing Global Indians by Times Now News 2012-13. In addition, HarVa XPO entered the Limca Book of Records for being the first all women rural BPO in the world. HarVa has won numerous awards and accolades including the Manthan Chairman Excellence Award 2011, SKOCH Financial Inclusion 2011 and TiE Entrepreneurial Excellence 2011 among the latest recognitions. Earlier in 2011, HarVa was also identified as the 3rd most innovative company in India (next only to Tata Motors) by the Fast Company magazine of New York.

Anuj Kapur

Head of Business Development - Ericsson India &  Country Head - Telecordia

Anuj has over 20 Years of Sales, Distribution, Marketing & ‘B2B’ Business Development experience including 9 years in Information Technology & over 14 years in Telecom. Anuj joined Telcordia Technologies in March 2009 as Country Manager – India. In his current position he is responsible for leading the country team for providing Service Delivery Solutions to customers in India. Post Telcordia’s acquisition by Ericsson, he has taken on an additional role of Head of Business Development for Ericsson’s Business Unit Support Systems (BUSS) to drive BUSS strategy execution and business growth in India. Anuj was earlier with Alcatel (later became Alcatel Lucent) as the Vice President & Head Sales - India for their Fixed Communications Group. Prior to joining Alcatel he was the Country Head for Telecom Marketing and Infrastructure at Samsung and was responsible for positioning the Samsung Brand in GSM and CDMA markets in the country.

Anuj has been a part of the Indian Telecom Industry right from its liberalization in India in 1995. He spent over 7 years in Motorola in various roles including Business Planning, Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Mobile Phone Sales. Prior to joining Motorola, Anuj has spent 9 years with companies in the IT / Computer industry including HCL, PCL & Fujitsu ICIM.

Piyush Lumba

Director Worldwide Sales - Microsoft

In his current role, Piyush is responsible for leading high-quality planning, strategy and operational management for WW Specialist Sales, a group that drives strategy, care and feeding of the Microsoft’s enterprise sellers world-wide. Prior to this, Piyush led product planning for SQL Information Services, a new group within SQL Server focused on Enterprise Information Management and Advanced Analytics. Prior to this, he ran product planning for SQL Azure and Azure AppFabric Services, core elements of Microsoft’s Cloud Computing offering.

Piyush has been at Microsoft for nine years, and early on worked in business development, business management, product management and strategy roles for the Forefront security product line. Before Microsoft, Piyush worked in the Telecom/Data communications industry in systems architecture and software development roles across a range of companies including Lucent Technologies, AT&T Bell Laboratories and venture-backed startups. Piyush has a B.S. Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, an MS in Computer Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
