Rekha M. Menon is the Chairman and Senior Managing Director at Accenture in India. In this role, she is responsible for building Accenture’s business, strengthening its position in the communities, and enhancing its profile in India. Rekha oversees the integration of the organization’s overall growth strategy with the long-term vision for the country. She joined Accenture in 2004 and was appointed to lead Accenture in India in 2015, following various leadership stints.

Rekha is a thought leader, an active voice for social causes and a proponent of responsible leadership in the age of technology disruption and innovation. Some of her external positions include – National Executive board of NASSCOM, USIBC, AmCham and the Board of Governors at the XLRI School of Business. Rekha is also an ambassador for the NITI Aayog’s Mentor of Change program. She champions her support for society through her association with Accenture’s corporate citizen initiatives and with not-for-profit organizations—Pratham Books and Akshara Foundation.

Rekha featured in Fortune India’s list of Top 20 Women in Business in India in 2017 and in many other lists regularly. Rekha is also among the OUTStanding & Financial Times’ Top 10 LGBT Ally Executives in 2017.

An active hiking and cycling enthusiast, Rekha is also a voracious reader. She lives in Bangalore, India.
